It's old school, but it still works for all the classic reasons. It can stand alone or be used as a component in an integrated advertising campaign. It allows you to communicate on a personal level because, well, it's "direct." You also have the ability to target a very specific audience ...a certain zip code, a list of your most loyal customers or men who like Celine Dion music (?!?).
Sounds good, huh? Beware: your investment in direct mail can turn into an expense faster than you can say "junk mail."
